Konoha College Chapter 1
It was the first day of school, and it was such a bright day. It was pretty laid back, too, since there was never homework on the first day. Then again, college was a whole lot different than high school. The cliques were much more diverse. No one got left out. There were the nerds, geeks, dorks, emos, Goths, otaku, preps, and jocks. All the people who got crap for being weird and different and no group even had their own posse. Then of course there would always be the lone wolves, that certain group of friends who refused to join a party, and stick together.
Kerica, Kiyomi, Hinata, Sarrina, and Temari made up that

Listening to his sister fawn over a guy was really annoying, Kankuro decided as he finished setting up the tables and laying out the tools he would be showing everyone. Yes, indeed it was, especially if she asked him questions about said guy, who happened to be a co-worker. He hadn't really wanted to get to know the other employees, but now he would have to look into this man, Raiden. Gaara didn't really care, even though he was the oldest; as long as she was happy. Being the middle brother who acted like the oldest, it was his job to make sure the guy was safe, and would watch him like a hawk until he proved himself

Raiden chopped the innocent vegetables heatedly as he glance between the cutting board and the kitchen wall clock. Gina was late, and one thing about his sister was, that she /never/ arrived late unless she called ahead of time to inform him. His sister lavished in being early for everything. Once, after their father died and he had to take over the position as caretaker, his beloved silver haired sister woke him up at five in the morning so that they could go get the donuts that he had promised her.
"Damnit, Gina...." the male growled as he set aside cooking in order head to the front door. His body was extremely t

Sarrina loudly popped her bubble gum as she and her fellow early bird friend, Hianta waited outside the class room ten or so minutes before the scheduled time. Kiyomi had yet to show up, no doubt trying to squeeze in another checkpoint on her new game: Assassin's Creed. Hinata absently doodled in her sketch book, smiling and blushing lightly to herself.
"Oi, Hinata, what cha drawing?" the white haired beauty asked as she lended over Hinata's shoulder in order to catch a glimps of hearts and a 'N' before the book snapped shut.
"N-nothing!" the girl blushed, holding the book close to her with a red face.

Sarrina yawned from the back of Nara-sensei's history class. Usually she sat in the front, but the white haired woman knew that if she sat up front, she'd be picked on for falling asleep. At least this way she had a chance at nodding off without drawing attention to herself. Supposedly, the brooding teach at the head of the classroom had been like this all week. '/Wonder what crawled up his ass? Didn't Kiyomi say that she had his class earlier this week? Maybe she knew what was going on./"
"I'm not stupid, those in the back, I see you drooping. Not that it matters this week, but you sure as hell better not don't let

The instant she got home, Temari had hopped on her laptop and looked up flower meanings, color meanings, and what would work if put in a bouquet. Once she found what she was looking for, she looked for the perfect site to send a custom bouquet with the flowers she needed and then added her own personalized message.
'Dear Raiden,
I'm not the romantic type; I prefer sports games to candlelight dinners and kissing in the rain to sitting in a cramped movie theater. I kept thinking that this would be way too girly, and so not me, but these flowers turned out to be the perfect ones to send you. I hope you enjoy these.

Kiyomi giggled madly due to the six candy bars and two Dr. Pepper slushies she downed not but thirty minutes ago. She bounced around as the sugar rushed through her veins. Normally her friends would have stopped her before she had her second bar, but today was October 2nd, her birthday! It was also Tuesday, so after finishing Kskashi's math class at 3:30 she didn't give a flip as she downed her sweets or when she acted half her age. "Keeeerrrriiiiii-neeeee-chaaaaaaaaaaan! You're so slooow! Come on! You promised to come with me to Gamer's Mind! You'll loooooooove it!"

Walking on air, Kerica hummed to herself a happy tune as she walked down the hallway to her's and Kiyomi's room. She was thinking about tomorrow even as she slid her key into the slot and entered her apartment. Everything good about that day, however, was tarnished by the disgusting scent of cigarettes. "Kami-sama..." her hand instantly covered her nose, "The hell?" She closed the door and locked it before walking further into the apartment, following the stench to where it was concentrated the most.
Kiyomi sighed dreamily as she hugged her favorite pillow close to her heart. After they had talked a while, Hageshi h

Sarrina yawned tiredly as she adjusted the strap of her messenger bag on her shoulder better. She felt dog tired from staying up all last night, trying to hunt down that slithery b*tch Yami's whereabouts the years she disappeared. It still frustrated her to no end that she left nothing behind to follow. She couldn't have possibly paid for cash with /everything/ or /not/ be on video somewhere, but she wasn't.
Grumbling as she yanked the art classroom door open, expecting to see the familiar red hair bowed while Gaara worked on something or another. Yet, instead of that, Kakashi sat with his nose buried in middle of h

Even though she made breakfast for two, Kiyomi didn't even wake up, and even though Kerica had heard the girl shuffling in the covers, her adopted sister didn't make a sound. After eating, she practiced her dance routine, but Kiyomi still didn't leave her room. She grabbed her phone and flipped through her numbers. The cat had been given a special number that would code her yes or no questions and /they/ would respond with the appropriate answer. It worked like a charm. The lookouts Sarrina had confirmed Kiyomi hadn't left.
Frowning she shook her head and got dressed in the perfect outfit – she thought – for the da
